COMING SOON, as part of SHANK's coverage of the 40th anniversary of Dunhill golf in St Andrews - 40 years of Fashion.

A unique shoot through the streets of St Andrews charting the development of fashion styles over the last four decades.

From the 1980's through to the 90's, the new millennium and now, fashion styles have changed, and so too has Dunhill golf in St Andrews. Launching as the Alfred Dunhill Cup in 1985, an era of denim and leather jackets, bold colours, a mix of formal and casual styles, often incorporating sportswear. Then as the new millennium dawned, the Cup became the Links Championship, in a new era of a blend of influences, moving from the relaxed styles of the late 90s to more polished and experimental looks. Key trends included a mix of baggy and skinny fits, with influences from hip-hop, indie rock.

Shot in the style of a Dunhill campaign, the backdrop will be the town of St Andrews, host to Dunhill golf for the last 40 years.

The complete feature will be published as part of SHANK's coverage of the 2025 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on shankmedia.co.uk and charismabymh.com over the weekend preceding Dunhill week, 27 and 28 September.
